This year has show us how much we has not been appreciating important things. I realised that I was taking simple things like breathing fresh air and travelling for granted. What about you? Have you been taking others of the best things in life for granted?

We 'take someone/something for granted' when we're so used to people/things that we do not show how much we value them any more.
