Actions speaks loudest than words?

Hello crew!

Have you ever make mistakes when speaking or typing in English?

Obviously, you have made errors when you started your English learning journey and you make some grammar mistakes when you're typing on your phone or you spell some words wrongly. Don't panic! There are so many common misspelt terms in English that even native speakers experience it. That's why we have a new section called 'Spot' where you can find posts with common mistakes -like punctuation, spelling and grammar ones-  in statements.

Are you ready for our first spot post? Let's start the ball rolling!

Look at the picture below.

Could you spot the errors in the picture? Let's see if you found all of them.

Yeah, both errors are gramatically incorrect. Now, it is your turn to correct them. Fill the gaps.

Let's check if it's bang on.

You got it right, don't you? Mention if you were spot-on in the comments.

Any doubts?

Let's clear them! The first mistake is the second 's' in 'speaks'; we only add 's' in the end of the main verb when we talk about a third person in singular. The second one is 'est' in 'loudest', it must be written 'louder' because there is a comparison in this expression.

Tell me in the 💬 if you would like to read more posts like this one.
