Spot

Hello crew!

Are you ready for apotting the mistakes? Let's get started!

Look at the picture below.

Could you spot the six errors in the picture? Let's see if you found all of them.

Yeah, three errors are gramatically incorrect, one is misspelling mistake and the others are wrong word ones. Now, it is your turn to correct them. Fill the gaps.

Let's check if it's bang on.

You got it right, don't you? Mention if you were spot-on in the comments.

Any doubts?

Let's clear them! The first mistake is the preposition 'at'; when we refer to nations or regions, we use the preposition 'in'. The second error is the article 'an'; remember to use the article 'a' -and not 'an'- when the folowing word begins with a consonant sound. The third one, is a spelling mistake; it must be written 'crossing' with a double 's' because the verb is spelt 'cross'. The fourth is a wrong word error in the expression '...crossing your way...'; the idiom is 'cross someone's path', so we must use the term 'path' instead of 'way'. The fifth is another wrong word mistake; although 'like' and 'as' are commonly confused terms, the correct one is 'as' in this case because it indicates a function: '...is a black cat crossing your path seen as...'. Finally, the last error is the 'a' before 'good luck' since luck is an uncountable noun.
